For Stephanie, it has always been a priority to articulate the tangible value of the solutions she proposes. She sees this as even more important today, given the financial pressures on health systems. She helped one client craft the business case for a new care delivery model for patients considered “rising in risk” for hospitalization. That solution ultimately reduced hospitalizations by 50% and cut overall cost of care for that patient population by one third.
Her expertise in data, analytics and omni-channel engagement strategies have equipped clients to embrace emerging business models, accelerate transformation, retain patients and increase loyalty, and improve financial and operational performance.
Before joining West Monroe, she was a solution director for KPMG’s Healthcare Advisory practice. She spent the previous 25 years in consulting roles with NTT DATA, IBM, and Deloitte Consulting. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Drake University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
What makes Stephanie different
Her biggest hobby is raising three teenage daughters to become good, productive citizens of the world. She loves running but has zero aspirations of being speedy. She runs to see new things in new places on foot rather than zipping by them in a vehicle.
She loves everything that comes with football season – the fall weather, tailgating, and watching games with like-minded friends. She and her husband lived and worked in Johannesburg, South Africa, for nearly two years, which was almost enough time to understand rugby and cricket.
Where Stephanie makes an impact
She is passionate about improving patient experience and feels that making healthcare “easy” and less stressful is a critical element of high-quality delivery. Her perspective comes from personal experience, and she hopes her work will eliminate common process obstacles for other patients and their families.
She leads a church team that helps people facing homelessness and hunger within her community. She is also involved with the 11Q Research & Resource organization, which supports people with 11Q chromosome deletion disorders.
